Biometric and Identity Verification Information (KYC)

To comply with applicable Know Your Customer (KYC) and anti-fraud requirements, we may also collect:

• Facial recognition and facial biometric data (such as a selfie or facial scan)
• Information from your government-issued ID used to verify your identity

We collect facial biometric data solely for KYC purposes, which means to verify that you are who you say you are when creating an account or when required to re-verify your identity for compliance and security.

We do not share your facial biometric data with third parties for any purposes outside of identity verification. We will only disclose it if required by law or regulation.

Face ID and TrueDepth API Usage

Zedi may offer biometric authentication features such as Apple Face ID to enhance account security. These features use Apple’s TrueDepth API and are processed entirely on your device.

Zedi does not collect, access, store, or process any facial recognition data, depth data, or biometric identifiers generated by Face ID.

This information:

• Never leaves your device
• Is not transmitted to our servers
• Is not shared with any third parties

We only receive a confirmation from your device indicating whether authentication was successful.

Biometric data collected for KYC purposes is retained only for as long as necessary to comply with legal and regulatory obligations and is securely deleted thereafter.
